General Construction Laborer (Short-Term)
Pay Rate: $16/hour
Job Type: Short-term, Full-time/Part-time (as needed)
Location: Residential construction site
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking individual to assist a general contractor with the construction of a new residential home. This is an entry-level position; no prior construction experience is required. The ideal candidate is motivated, willing to learn on the job, and able to follow directions carefully.
Essential Duties
- Assist with sealing the foundation and installing drain tile
- Help with framing, drywall, and insulation installation
- Carry, load, and organize construction materials on site
- Provide general support to the contractor as needed
- Maintain a clean and safe worksite
Required
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn new skills
- Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting 50 lbs or more
- Dependable and punctual with reliable transportation
- Ability to follow safety guidelines and instructions
- Transportation to/from job site
Pay: $16/hour hourly
